FLOWERS AND LANDSCAPE SERIES
I like to use sharp angles in my landscapes in order to blur the lines between the bucolic and the urban. I use colors and textures in my paintings that create the impression of infinite space, undefined, but also somehow intimate and familiar.
I explore the interior world of flowers. Within them I find the archetypes of sensuality. The warm fleshtones, curving landscapes, and a particular fragility mirrors our own human experience.
